Background: Growth and development in the first two years of life is the most rapid period. One
of the causes of malnutrition in children is inappropriate feeding practices for children. Objective:
This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about MPASI and the
nutritional status of babies aged 6 - 12 months at the Cikarang Community Health Center.
Method: This research uses quantitative methods with a cross-sectional study. The sampling
technique used was purposive sampling and the total sample was 57 respondents. This research
uses univariate and bivariate analysis in the form of the Chi-Square test. Results: The research
results show that the majority of mothers' knowledge about giving MPASI to babies aged 6 - 12
months is good for 40 respondents (70.2%). There is a significant relationship between maternal
knowledge and nutritional status (p value 0.001). Conclusion: Good maternal knowledge about
giving MPASI is related to the nutritional status of babies aged 6 - 12 month
