Background: Anemia is still a health problem that is often experienced by adolescent girls, especially at school age. The incidence of anemia in adolescents aged 15–18 years in Jambi City increased again by 10.21% in 2024, due to the low knowledge of adolescents about anemia. One way to increase knowledge is through health education using leaflets because this media is a health promotion media that is simple, practical, and easy to understand. Objective: To analyze the effect of health education on anemia prevention using leaflets on increasing the knowledge of adolescent girls at SDN 176 Majelis Hidayah. Method: Using quantitative research with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The study was conducted in October 2025 with a population of 33 people and a sample of 20 adolescent girls using a purposive sampling technique with inclusion criteria: adolescent girls who are registered as students at SDN 176 Majelis Hidayah, aged 10–18 years, willing to be respondents, able to read, and follow the entire series of research (pre-test, provision of materials, and post-test). The instrument in this study was a questionnaire on knowledge about anemia in adolescent girls used before and after health education through leaflets. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon test. Results: There was an increase in the average knowledge from 9.45 ± 4.211 in the pre-test to 13 ± 4.507 in the post-test. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a p value = 0.001, so there was an effect of health education through leaflets on increasing the knowledge of adolescent girls. Conclusion: Health education using leaflets has been proven effective in increasing the knowledge of adolescent girls about anemia.
