Background: Anemia in women occurs when hemoglobin (Hb) levels are below the standard limit of <12
gr/dl. One of the factors that can cause anemia is the habit of drinking tea because the tannin content in
tea can interfere with the body's iron absorption process. In addition, nutritional status also contributes
to the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. Objective: This study aimed to determine the relationship
between nutritional status and tea-drinking habits with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls.
Method: The method used was a literature review, which involved searching for, summarizing, and
drawing conclusions from various previous studies. The literature was limited to publications from 2015
to 2025 and was obtained through databases such as Google Scholar, the Garuda Portal, and the Publish
or Perish application. The literature search was conducted using keywords such as "Anemia",
"Nutritional Status", "Adolescent Girls", and "Tea", in both English and Indonesian. Results: Based on
15 journals that were reviewed, 7 out of 9 journals that discussed the relationship between nutritional
status and anemia stated that there was a correlation between the variables, and 7 out of 8 journals that
discussed the relationship between tea drinking habits and the incidence of anemia stated that there was
a correlation between the variables. Conclusion: The majority of the journals that were reviewed showed
that there was a relationship between nutritional status and tea drinking habits, with the incidence of
anemi
