The COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred worldwide has limited community activities due to
regulations issued by the government that require the implementation of large-scale social
restrictions. These social restrictions have impacted the learning system, which has been shifted to
an online system. Student activities that have shifted online can affect eating patterns and physical
activity. This research aims to describe students' eating patterns and physical activity at the
Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Satya Wacana Christian University during the
COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research used is quantitative research with a cross-sectional
approach. Data was obtained by filling out FFQ and GPAQ questionnaires, which were filled out
independently by respondents. The research respondents were 86 people selected using a simple
random sampling technique. The results showed that respondents obtained a source of
carbohydrates from rice with a frequency of 17.94 ± 4.12 times per week, a source of animal
protein from beef with a frequency of 1.08 ± 0.83 times per week, and chicken meat was consumed
6.28 ± 6.22 times per week, and chicken eggs were consumed 4.69 ± 4.65 times per week.
Meanwhile, consumption of vegetables and fruit among students tends to be low, and consumption of drinks and snacks among students tends to be low. As many as 50% of students at the Faculty of
Medicine and Health Sciences at Satya Wacana Christian University have low-intensity physical
activity. The research concluded that students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
at Satya Wacana Christian University still did not comply with the guidelines for balanced
