Factor Affecting The Performance of Posyandu Caders Based on Nutritional Status in Limbung Village

Background: Posyandu is the front line in public health services at the village level, with cadres as
the main movers. The performance of posyandu cadres in health services is very important
considering that the prevalence of health problems in Indonesia is still quite high, with stunting
reaching 21.6% in 2022. Objective: This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the
performance of posyandu cadres in health services in Limbung Village. Methods: The crosssectional study was conducted by involving 30 posyandu cadres divided into 5 working groups as
respondents. Data collection used structured questionnaires and cadre anthropometric
measurements. Results: The results showed that knowledge factors (p=0.004, OR=6.502),
motivation (p=0.003, OR=8.525), and health worker support (p=0.007, OR=5.228) had a
significant relationship with cadre performance. This study emphasizes the importance of
continuing education and support systems for posyandu cadres to optimize their performance in
public health services. Conclusion: Motivation is the most influential factor on the performance of
cadres with the highest OR score (8,525), showing the importance of the motivation aspect in
optimizing cadre performance.
